Kings Barton

Residents Association

Let's spring clean the estate - Saturday 16th March 2024!

What we do

Building our Community

With over 400 residents now and growing  our goal is help build and maintain a sense of community for everyone.

We do this through organising social events to bring the community closer together.

Supporting Residents

We are committed to improving conditions for all residents, working in partnership with CALA during the development programme and with our local authorities and housing  associations.

This allows us to advocate in the local community and work directly with the people we serve.

Representing your views

KBRA represents and promotes the interests of residents living in our area.

Here are our upcoming events for 2024!

Spring cleaning is back!

Saturday 16th March 10.00am Litter Picking

As you all probably know by now we are making the litter picking morning a twice yearly event. What better way to meet your neighbours!

As it is nearly Spring we thought it would be a good time to get outside and make our estate look as good as possible.  We would love your help!

Everyone is welcome; children are especially good at this!

We hope to cover the whole estate, so...

At the northern end (1B) we will meet by the Greenfields play park in Ranulph Road.

At the southern end (1A) we will meet outside the Cala sales office.

Providing we have enough volunteers  we will do both ends at the same time (10.00am)

Thank you for your support and we look forward to meeting you on March 16th.

The Summer Fair will return in 2024 - watch this space!

We will be working on plans over the next few months to bring you another bumper fair this Summer!

Thank you Kings Barton Residents!

At the end of September KBRA arranged  a development wide collection of items for the Winchester Basics Bank.  An enormous thank you to you all for the many items we collected - you were very generous.  Here is a photo of Mike, our Chairman with Kevin from the bank together with just some of your contributions.

Thank you to everyone who came to our summer fete and those creatives who made a scarecrow  - we hope to repeat it again next year!

THANK YOU KINGS BARTON RESIDENTS!

Just before Christmas we organised a collection for our local food bank, the Winchester Basics Bank.  This is to say a huge thank you for your donations which were gratefully received.  Here is their message to you all.

"Thank you very much for the Christmas donation from the KBRA to Winchester Basics Bank. It was a very generous and timely delivery especially in the times that we are all living through. Please pass our sincere thanks to the committee and residents of Kings Barton. Best wishes for the New Year"
