Kings Barton Environmental Group
The Kings Barton Environmental Group (KBEG) is a volunteer-led group within the Kings Barton Residents Association (KBRA). We bring residents together to understand, care for and improve the natural and environmental features around us.
KBEG has been established to promote environmental stewardship, biodiversity enhancement and sustainable management of Kings Barton’s shared environmental assets on behalf of current and future residents.

KBEG Tree Survey - 2026
Save Our Trees!
Following the news about the launch of the King's Barton Environmental Group (KBEG) one of the first activities to be undertaken by the group is a community tree survey.
The team is looking to identify what has been planted in the public areas of the development and make an assessment of tree health. We have sadly seen a number of trees suffer from the heat of this summer and we want to map where this has happened and what is needed to restore these natural assets.
The survey will take place throughout September and the team will be photographing the trees and fauna that have been planted by Cala. If you have any experience with trees or would like to help the team collect information via your smart phones, please reach out to us here.
