Our summer fete was a huge success, with a fantastic turnout and glorious warm weather. Residents enjoyed freshly cooked food and drinks, a variety of stalls, a tombola, children’s games and activities, and even a special visit from a fire engine.

Our spring litter pick in April 2026 had a fantastic turnout, with residents coming together to help tidy up the development. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make the event such a success.

The annual Winchester Santa Sleigh visited Kings Barton in early December and is organised by the Winchester Round Table to raise money for local charities.

Thank you Kings Barton residents for your generosity!  The collection from your front doorsteps filled five supermarket trolleys to the brim!! The Bank were very thankful.

Our Halloween event in October 2025 was a huge success, with families enjoying trick-or-treating around the development and taking part in the competition to find the scariest decorated house.

Every spring and autumn, Kings Barton Residents Association (KBRA) organise a litter pick across the estate. As CALA build out the estate, we need more volunteers to ensure that we can cover the whole area. 

Kings Barton has already put itself on the map for Halloween, so we were delighted to see that residents were just as enthusiastic with their Christmas lights. Thank you to all the residents who made the neighbourhood look so festive, and to those who joined our friendly lights competition. Congratulations to our winners - Cllr De Stefano (1st) and Sherrie Shane Oakes (2nd) who won vouchers to a local bakery.
